Introducing the White Source AusIndustry SBO Program
The Small Business Online (SBO) program is an Australian Goverment initiative that is designed to assist small businesses in improving e-business capabilities. If you own or manage a business with less than 20 employees - and you would like to establish or review your online presence - then this program is for you.
As the Company selected to deliver the SBO program in Cairns, Port Douglas, Innisfail, Mission Beach, Tully and Cooktown regions, White Source (and our IT Consultants) can help you to go online, significantly enhance your web presence, increase your website usage and engage in e-business capabilities that help reduce costs and improve your market opportunities.
In short, our goal is to help you by offering:
- direction and advice on e-business,
- advice on establishing an online presence, and
- assistance in developing other e-business resources.
The Small Business Online program will leverage off the Australian Government's plan to build and operate a new super fast National Broadband Network. The new National Broadband Network will:
- Connect 90 percent of all Australian homes, schools and workplaces with speeds up to 100 megabits per second 100 times faster than those currently used by many households and businesses
- Connect all other premises in Australia with next generation wireless and satellite technologies that will deliver broadband speeds of 12 megabits per second; and
- Directly support up to 25,000 local jobs every year, on average, over the 8 year life of the project.
For more information on the National Broadband Network, you may like to view this release issued 7 April 2009.
This is an Australian Government funded initiative under the Small Business Online program.
